Join us for another extravaganza of an evening, with readings from Canada's best emerging writers! Doors open at 6:30p and readings begin at 7:00p. Here are the writers reeling you in this NUTTY NOVEMBER:

NAILAH KING Nailah King is a writer whose work explores racism, discrimination, identity and her Caribbean heritage. She is also a member of the Room Magazine editorial collective. She was the co-editor of Room’s first Women of Colour issue. Her work has appeared in the Feels Zine and Word and Colour.

ANGELA WRIGHT Angela Wright is a writer and political analyst based in Toronto. Her creative nonfiction has appeared or is forthcoming in Catapult, The Fiddlehead, The New Quarterly, and The Brooklyn Quarterly.

JODY CHAN Jody Chan writes and builds community in Tkaronto/Toronto. Their chapbook is published with Damaged Goods Press, and their poetry is published in BOAAT, Nat. Brut, and elsewhere.

EMMA SHIELDS Emma Shields is a 23-year-old graduate of UTSC's creative writing minor, who likes to focus on joy, Toronto, and being a woman.

ADAM GILES Adam Giles’s stories have appeared in a variety of literary journals (some are viewable online: www.adamgiles.ca). He lives in Mississauga, Ontario with his wife and two children.
