Brenda Clews will be hosting the first Song & Poetry Salon! My salon offers two features, a poet/writer and a musician - this month we have the talented John Oughton, who will both play his electric guitar and read, and Anna Gutmanis, who will close out the salon with a good 30-40 minutes of her music.

We have two fabulous Guest Poets, Kath MacLean, and just waiting to hear, but still TBA; and two wonderful Guest Musicians, Dougal Bichan and Maggie Fraser.

There are about 5 or so Open Mic spots of 5min each. There will be 2 breaks. The Tranzac encourages you to bring your lunch, or snacks, and to buy from the bar, where there is beer, wine, coffee and tea. A donation of $5. or more to pay the features and help us cover room rental is much appreciated. I know we all miss the Words & Music Salon, but we are a strong community and are continuing in Linda M. Stitt - Poet's beautiful and loving path (she may be attending too).
