Knife Fork Book at The Dark Side Studio

244 Augusta Avenue, Toronto

Join us for the launch of the new poetry-knitting collection K2TOG by Jessica Bebenek, featured as a part of Knife Fork Book at The Dark Side Studio's FUCK WINTER WEEK. Local poet Fawn Parker will join Bebenek (and the audience...) in a collaborative reading of the text, followed by a short discussion of the project.

Knit your poetry, talk over poets, and tell winter to fffff off.

~ Jessica Bebenek‘s k2tog (“knit two together”) is an interactive art book of knitting patterns for poems, published by Berlin’s Broken Dimanche Press in 2018. This collection contains an introductory essay and 9 knitting patterns for poems by women in which the authors speak to each other through text & time. k2tog is risograph printed and hand-bound with an accompanying spool of twine and knitting needles so that the reader can knit the poems themselves. ~
