PAUL VERMEERSCH is a poet, professor, artist and editor. He is the author of six collections of poetry, most recently Self-Defence for the Brave and Happy, published by ECW Press last year. He holds an MFA in creative writing from the University of Guelph for which he received the Governor General's academic gold medal. His next book Shared Universe: New and Selected Poems is forthcoming from ECW Press next year.

CAROLINE SZPAK is a Toronto-based writer. Slinky Naive is her first book and she's looking forward to what's next.

HANAN HAZIME is a multidisciplinary artist, creative writer, community arts educator, and writing instructor living in Toronto. Her debut poetry chapbook Aorta was published by ZED Press in 2018. She's currently working on her first YA novel. When not writing or creating art, Hanan enjoys reading fantasy and science fiction novels, overanalyzing things, photo-blogging, dancing with faeries in the woods, and drinking copious amounts of tea.

DIANA BIACORA’s writing has appeared in the Unpublished City Volume I and girlSpoken: from pen, brush and tongue, amongst others. She lives in Toronto where she co-founded Pluma, volunteers for SisterWrites, teaches and writes. She recently earned her MFA from the University of Guelph.

ALEXANDRA MAE JONES is a writer, journalist, and MFA candidate at the University of Guelph. She has been published in The Goose, and currently works at the Toronto Star reporting on death, weather, and the price of things at Costco. A play she once co-wrote for Toronto Fringe was described as a “revelation” by one reviewer and “plotless” by another. She is working on her first novel, a queer YA book.
