Our monthly open mic and spoken word event, Dead Poet keeps your energy charged with a vibrant space of artists, poets, musicians, DJs and performances. A community filled with diversity and a space to meet amazing creatives in an environment that allows you to be you.

THEME: "Power of the Mind"

We focus on welcoming all artist in the community, we're looking for music, poetry and dance submission that connects on your artistry with a personal perspective of human thought as it aspires to get at the very meaning of life. Showcase the love of wisdom the search for knowledge and speaking your truth.

MUSICIANS Musicians that want to perform a track will have to send a ONE track with artist’s information, including artist name, mini bio, social media handles and how it relates to the theme to the email below.

*Note: musicians have to be available on Dead Poet's event day. 10 early bird performances will be selected, so not all early bird submissions will be accepted as we have create our short list.

*Note: Attaching a video of you performing live strengthens your submission.

Poets will have to showcase how their piece relates to the theme before signing on at the door. Please arrive early when doors open to get your chance to get on the list. If you are not within the theme guidelines you will not be able to perform.
