Hello fellow writers & poets: I'm happy to announce our last free open mic salon of the year.

Everyone gets 3 minutes of open mic time (just relax & enjoy if you prefer not to read). There will also be two 10-minute Featurettes, Fay Copland & Ken Marvell: one reading before the break and one after. As always, there will be a 10-minute interval to enjoy camaraderie, grab another coffee and try the delicious scones and banana-walnut bread - yum. If you're new, I'll introduce you to folks - we're a friendly bunch.

I shall again have a December festive RAFFLE for charity. I'm doing it a bit differently this year. Only one [1] raffle ticket per person, $10 each. Several prizes to be won - nice presents just in time for Christmas, LOL.

Talking of which, the theme is "Festive Season" & that covers any traditional holidays such as Hanukah or other December festivities, or something holiday-like without religion involved (snowman, anyone?). Or else no festivities - the theme is only for those who want to join in - otherwise, we enjoy other topics - but light and jolly for the season.

Remember, don't park in the large parking lot (Denningers) or you may be towed. Use the small lot just behind the cafe or else the street.
