Which talented Toronto poet will represent Toronto Poetry Slam at the annual Canadian Individual Poetry Slam (CIPS) Championships in Vancouver, aka Verses: Festival of Words? This is the qualifying slam to see who will make that trip to BC!

A UNIQUE FORMAT FOR THIS NIGHT'S SLAM:

4 poems: each 1 minute, 2 minute, 3 minute and 4 minute (with 10-second grace periods).

-Everyone does the 3-minute round, followed by a 1-minute round. -1/2 the poets will go on to the 2 min round (based on cumulative scores form 1st two rounds). -We will do one more cutoff (half) to find the final poets competing in the 4-minute round.

Scores are CUMULATIVE.
