Toronto's only monthly Youth Poetry Slam, BAM!, is back in full effect with BAM! Alumni and fire poet Sheila Brewster aka Jubilee!!!!

We are back at a NEW VENUE Palmerston Library !!!!

INTERESTED IN COMPETING? Rules of a BAM! Poetry Slam are quite simple. Bring 3 poems, just in case. There we will have 12 slots open for youth poets - 2-3 rounds (based on number of competitors), 3 minutes with a 10 second grace period for every poet to drop their fire, with a 0.5 penalty for every 10 seconds afterwards. No props, no instruments, etc.

There is an OPEN MIC available for ALL AGES for anyone that wants to share his or her works on stage!

Featuring: Jubilee

Sheila "Jubilee" Brewster is a toronto-grown, kitchener based spoken word poet with credits performing on stages around the world as well as on CBC's Poetic License. She is known for putting goosebumps into words, leaving listeners on the edge of their seats as she says things as simply as she knows how.
