Difficult Emotions Poetry Night

  • 866 Bloor Street West Toronto, ON, M6G 1M5 Canada (map)

Station Bar & Kitchen

Have you ever felt difficult emotions? Anger, anxiety, guilt, shame, fear, depression, rage, mourning, worthless, grief? Of course all of us felt them as humans!

But how do you process them? Do you surpress them? Do you release them? You can't share them with family or friends because no one listens to you or empathizes with you? You don't want to keep complaining because you are afraid to lose the people you love or care about?

We want you to know that you deserve love and respect. You matter and you are worthy to be listened to and have a voice. You have the mic and the floor. It is all yours.

You are invited to share with us your hard feelings poetry in a safe environment. There is no right or wrong in how you have felt. There is no judgement. We will listen to you and support you.

Our poetry nights are open mic multilingual poetry nights. Performers can read in any language with English translation. They can rap, sing, play music, tell a story or do stand up comedy.
