Celebrating the accomplishments and growth of youth and artists in our community. RISE hopes that the annual celebration of 416RISE will mark an important day of recognizing the arts and culture in the city, and one day, throughout the world.

This will be our biggest event yet! You can expect amazing performances, a very special guest and very special announcements from some very big people in the city.

This year, we are honored to present Mumu Fresh, live in Toronto!

Thanks to an NPR Tiny Desk Concert that has so far garnered over 440k views and counting, Maimouna Youssef, aka Mumu Fresh, Global citizen, musical healer, singer, and hip hop artist, demands attention and rightfully gets it. She‘s shared stages and collaborated with music giants such as Sting, Nas, Common, Erykah Badu, Lauryn Hill, The Roots, DJ Jazzy Jeff and many more!

Her powerful fusion of jazz, soul, hip-hop, and R&B with fearless social commentary and life lessons on love and growth is well needed for a magical moment in our city in Toronto.

Other performances will include TRP.P, ADL, Matt Muse, JAYD INK and a very special guest!
