"It's May, It's May, the merry month of May, That lovely month where everyone goes blissfully astray!"

Another month another ExPo Soc, and we have a couple of fantastic features lined up for the evening:

VANNESSA BARNIER: an instigator and facilitator, the host of the Legible Intelligibles reading series, a bookseller at House of Anansi, coordinator of poetry workshops, and an attendee of the 2019 Juniper Summer Writing Institute intensive. Vannessa lives, works, and screams in the west end of Toronto.

ZAK JONES: recently completed his studies at University of Toronto’s MA in Creative Writing finishing a full-length manuscript of poetry and defended his thesis, Fancy Gap, a novel exploring Appalachian poverty, evangelism and isolation. His work is forthcoming in The Puritan and Hart House Review’s centennial issue, and can be found in PRISM International, Yale University’s Palimpsest Journal, Bad Nudes Mag and elsewhere at www.zakjones.ca

Spots are available for any poet daring enough to strut their stuff upon the stage. So come on out, bring your friends, spread the word. Rain or shine, we'll be raising the roof with poetry.
