Taste of Colombia - Fair Trade Cafe & El Salon "Events Room"

We're a friendly group of poets, storytellers and singers. Some even bring guitars. For open mic, it's 3 minutes per person. The guest speaker is 25 minutes, including a Q&A, and will be author Anubha Mehta, talking about her new book.

The event is free, but please buy food and/or coffee, as the cafe's owners are very kind to support the arts by letting us have this space. Anyway, their food is homemade and delicious. The scone and cappuccinos are to die for : - ) I would also like to thank Michael Williams for his help organizing this.

Come a little earlier if you want to sign up for one of the 15 open-mic spots.

Park on the street or the small lot just behind the cafe. Do NOT park in the larger parking lot (the Denningers one), as they often tow. But there is plenty of street parking also, that is easy to find and available.

Looking forward to meeting you there!
