The Drake Hotel

TPS is back at the Drake and this time featuring an Ottawa star poet and hosted by a national champ!

That's right, Luke Reece will be hosting this slam and Nina Vuleta will be our feature poet!

Nina Vuleta is a spoken word artist from Ottawa. She started writing poetry at the ripe age of twelve and has been competing in slams ever since. In 2015 she was crowned the youngest Capital Slam Champion and has since been a three-time team member and two-time finalist at the Canadian Festival of Spoken Word. As a recent high school graduate, come September Nina will be attending the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland for a Bachelors in Contemporary Performance Practice. Upon her move to the UK, Nina will be devoting her life to the pursuit of the Lochness Monster and would therefore like to dedicate her performance to Nessie herself.

As always $7 cover and all ages and signup at 730pm for slam or open mic. Show at 8.
