Ghadeer Elghafri is a Palestinian-Canadian poet, singer, and actor from Gaza, born and raised in Dubai, and living in Toronto. She is a new immigrant, warrior, healer, feminist, activist and advocate. She published her poetry in newspapers, magazines and a chapbook, Poetry ReRooted: Decolonizing Our Tongues. Ghadeer performed in dozens of poetry nights. She read her Arabic poetry with English translation. She organized tens of multicultural multilingual open mic poetry nights in the GTA. Ghadeer will startup her own business of “Qahwa Art Cafe” in Toronto which is a safe community space to perform different kind of arts.

Tyler Pennock is a 2-spirit Cree and Métis adoptee from Northern Alberta (around Lesser Slave Lake). They are a graduand of the creative writing MFA at Guelph, and before that - University of Toronto. They prefer to write poetry and theatre. Their book of poems - Bones - will be released in spring of 2020.

Tranzac Club is an accessible venue with no stairs (aside from the stage) and they have two accessible gender neutral washrooms. Please refrain from using perfume.
