Hear spoken word artist Patrick de Belen and performers from Up From The Roots and BAM! Toronto Youth Poetry Slam, in the candlelit rooms of Gibson House. Watch rap, spoken word and classical music performances, enjoy a catered evening buffet, and witness a live painting demonstration.

This event is part of Toronto History Museums' Black History Month programming. Gibson House is one of 10 Toronto History Museums that explore where Toronto's many pasts, presents and futures meet. This Georgian farmhouse, surrounded by an apple orchard and heritage gardens, offers visitors a glimpse of 19th-century rural life in North York.
