Welcome Anton Chan and Joy: two inspiring poets and awesome performers! This is also the 6th anniversary of Wild Writers! Wow! How time flies. Come out to listen to awesome poets and be one yourself: 12 spots on the open mic, first-come-first serve at the door. $5 admission. Snacks included. Maybe I'll bake a cake! Joy (they/them): Joy is a colourful multidisciplinary artist who finds great liberation through their creative self expression.

Anton Chan: Anto brings a high-energy conscious presence to all the shows he performs on. His connection to the moment will capture your attention through multiple performance arts including poetry, storytelling and comedy.

Summer 2019, he participated in the Montreal Fringe with his one-man show “Love So Far” where he reflected upon personal relationships learning what Love truly is. Featuring on Rise Poetry, Guelph Poetry Slam & Shab-e She'r, his intimacy & in-the-moment excitement brings entertainment that challenges audiences to look deeper. Touring across Canada & Asia, Anto is grateful to be back in his favourite city of Toronto performing on incredible shows!

His favourite monthly show he co-produces called “FreeFlow” where he welcomes performers from all walks of life sharing the stage, happening at 1017 Gallery every Final Friday of the month.
